Default Machine Shed Update

I need to get new pictures of the outside - the fascia and soffit are up, this picture was taken before that got done.

The siding is pre-primed and we'll paint it when the weather is warm again.

So, with the exterior done for the winter, we moved to the inside. Got the insulation and plastic up. Since this is an "outbuilding" we are putting all the electrical in conduit, so none is running inside the wall. (note - we follow construction methods for cold climates, so where you live it may be done differently)

Next step is to get the panel installed so we can hook the power back up.

I also have to switch gears and get some work done on the other half - so we can move the cat door to it's proper location, and shut the window! The cats will not have 24/7 access to this side.

That is looking good. The cats are so cute with their winter coats. Do they think they are helping?

It's coming right along. Thanks for posting pictures of the progress of this project.

Kitties only supervise, they don't help.

It's really coming along. The little row of buildings looks like part of a country village. Seeing the machine tables inside gives perspective to how large it is (though for someone with your collecting instinct, I doubt it could be large enough ). I wish I had a separate sewing building!

The first picture is great with the cats sauntering across the tundra.

Looks great Cathy! The conduit is a good idea. Easy to make changes in the future if you want or need to for any reason, also less points for drafts to form and heat to escape(or cool in the Summer). That should be a really snug building when it's done. You'll pretty much be able to heat it with a candle.

Very nice looking building! We have been discussing putting a metal bldg. up for a "hobby shop". This is incentivizing.

haha! I just looked at your pic again and there are 4 kitties! The first two Tim's I looked I did not see the one on top of the sawhorse. Lol! Sweet kitties.
