Default Coolest MN A treadle table I've ever seen!

I know many of you have way more years and experience in the vintage sewing machine world than i, so you may have seen this. But I hadn't and I thinks it's gorgeous. Wish I was a tad closer than 4 hours and a bit richer. I would snap it up in a heartbeat! Anyone own one of these?

Check out that price too! $21.95? Yowza! Now that's what I'm talkin 'bout! It does look like the table top to this one for sale might be missing. It isn't in the ad....but then you never know.

isn't that pretty.

makes me want to get out the hammer and nails. Then work over the kitchen table..

keep in mind way back when, That 21.92 would have bought you a horse, a brand new rifle, and a bag of corn seeds , enough flour and sugar to eat for a month.

That machine (the one for sale now) looks like a Version 2/3 model A. I have one that my notes for it say is dated to 1905. An online inflation calculator that I use only goes back to 1914, and $21.95 in 1914 would be $511.54 in 2014.

If you flip that, $21.95 in 2014 has the same buying power as $0.94 did back in 1914.

It's been listed for some time - I saw it before the last time I made a trip, so that was a while ago. If it had the top I'd go for it - but even as neat as it is, I have to remind myself I don't need to collect everything!

Yes Rodney, it's the same one. It's on the Minneapolis Craigslist. I posted it on the thread where we were talking about the Minnesota E that I recently bought with the very small, basic wood side treadle. Jon brought up that there was a really neat fancy library table treadle for the Davis machines too.

I'm heading into the Twin Cities this Friday, but I really need to stop picking up machines/cabinets until my building is done.
