I was really proud of myself for recently (a few days ago) expanding my tiny Pfaff collection to a 30, 130, and 230, thinking I would never want another. And Steve just had to ruin it.

Yes, and on his first day back too. LOL. Wonder what's up for tomorrow?

Sheepish grin..... sorry. FYI it is a Model R convertible. (This beauty was donated to my collection by a person who just felt that it belonged with the rest of my machines)

Well, I think all I have are "vintage" or "museum" machines, but I've sewn on a number of machines, and I have to go along with Miriam, I love the 403A my son recently bought for me, and the price was sure right! It's gotten quite a workout in the past 3-4 weeks. It does a tremendous job and is soooooooooooo quiet! Welcome back, SteveH.

With the convertible setup that Pfaff is useful, practical, flexible, interesting and sexy!

That Pfaff is a beauty. To me that one is desirable. Beautiful machine and an interesting convertible setup.

I am hoping to buy a Pfaff key this weekend from Helen Howes so I can stop using the homemade key I made..

This machine is "slightly" outside of my collection period so someday when I find a convertible that is earlier, this one will go on the block...

I will try to take a decent series of pictures now that she is cleaned up and sewing. I'll start a Pfaff thread when I do.

That would be wonderful for quilting, nice long throat. I piece quite a few of my quilt tops with a treadle, hand crank machines aren't my favorites.

I have a Pfaff 60 treadle and a 1222E. I just recently bought 2 new plastic wonders, Pfaffs QE 4.2 and Passport 2.0, really like the IDT(built in walking foot).
