Red face Desparately seeking Windsor B front slide plate

My mother moved last month. When she started putting her quilting room together she realized that the movers had lost the front slide plate off of her antique Windsor B machine. She uses the machine a lot, and we are looking everywhere for someone that might have this part.

ANY leads would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Head over to the Vintage and antique sewing machine section of this Board and I'm sure someone has one or a lead to one. The head has a shape common to others and someone will k now the common manufacturing company. Don't despair- the part can be found.

    Kalthis,

You can also try Thayer Rags about a front slide of your Windsor B which is a National made machine. I noticed a Windsor B parts machine in their listings under National.

She contacted me earlier this month about the slide plate off of my machine, but I’m not parting my machine out at this point. Hopefully, someone else will have a stray slide plate.
