I mentioned to my daughter that I wanted a Featherweight to take to quilting classes. She bought me one. Now I wonder how I ever got along without it. I use it every day for piecing. That frees up my Bernina for FMQ and appliqué. I love the fact that if anything goes wrong with my Featherweight, I can repair it myself.

I have 2 FWs and use them all the time for piecing, making bags, curtains, etc....My grandchildren use them when they come to sew pillows and mini quilts. I also take mine to sewing groups because it is light and it does sew a great seam. Need no, but what a great sewing tool if you find a good one.
