Does Anyone Recognize This Table?
Howdy y'all :c)
A couple of weeks ago, I responded to a Craigslist ad for a Featherweight and table. It said that if the person who bought the Featherweight didn't want the table, the table would be sold for $75. I called as soon as I saw the ad, but someone else had already called who wanted both. Someone had already called who wanted both, but the man said he had another table he would sell really cheap. I went to look at it and even though it was 1/8" too narrow for a Featherweight, knowing how expensive these tables are, I went ahead and paid the man $25 for it! So now I don't know whether to sand it down 1/16" on each side, or try to find a machine that fits it! LOL! So does anyone recognize this table and know what fits it, or should I just go ahead and sand it down? It obviously needs to be refinished anyway, so putting a bit of extra work into it isn't a big deal. What do y'all think?

That is a table for a short bed 301, or a 400 or 500 series Singer machine.
It's already been painted, and it looks like the inset is plywood (not original) and it looks like some support for the inset was added.
