Default Double rescue needed in west Peoria, IL

Wife found this in CL:
http://peoria.craigslist.org/atq/3343020479.html

Two old sewing machines, one a White treadle, the other is unknown. Probably a Singer. Check out the pics ..... ugh.

I'd go for them but ... no money, no room.

Any QB members near Peoria, IL????

Joe

That was exactly the same thought we had when we looked at the add. Wonder if we emailed the poster if they would even be able to get to the machines to take some pics?

Yeah, me too. If I could buy them I would insist on that vintage cage on top of the cabinet being part of the deal. That is a vintage collectible also.

By the looks of that mess, I'll bet the seller would be glad to get rid of a bunch of it. I looked at the cage too, but it's too small for any critter we have around here so I'll pass.

Some people use those cages as decorations. It looks like a pigeon or chicken cage.

I'm not one to use things for decorations or modern art. I'd probably try to stick one our cats in it. (we need a demon smiley here)

I bet if you put a little cat quilt in it and a quilt over it at least one cat would claim it for their own cat cave.
