Default Eye Candy

This is so beautiful and so out reach for me but it may be right for some one here. I love the lions and would love it in my home if only to look at as a great sculpture. http://rmn.craigslist.org/atq/4245376507.html

Must. Stop. Looking. At. These! I' love it! I agree, what a find. I'm totally interested in the vintage sewing machines, but I don't have the room or the money to indulge. I like the lines and I can just hear it singing!

That is beautiful. Especially for what looks like an early industrial machine.
I know tastes have changed these days but wouldn't it be nice if manufacturers still spent as much time on details like that instead of just looking for ways to cut costs?

Very cool. I love all the embellishment they used to do.

I love the sideways mounted treadle wheel - that is also very different!

Great machine! I wonder due to the space underneath, if it was for stitching saddles or shoes? It has an anchor on the decals, maybe sail stitching?
