Default a featherweight on c/l - rude guy!

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/atq/3761020853.html I had sent him an email about the condition of it - looks used hard to me. A friendly one, though. He answers 'yea, otherwise - it would be five hundred plus'. ftr, kannapolis *does* have a crack problem!! lol

I also ran into a rude FW guy on a TN Craigs list. Tried to help him correct his ad, since it was very misleading and he called me an ugly name!

It is good to vent about these things when they happen. I try to remember that I should not let someone, who has little to no "impact" on my life, to ruin my day when they say something hurtful/rude.
Just think, how much pain that person must be in, to be that angry at the world.

Not for $300. That one looks as if it has been "rode hard and put away wet". The foot controller is not original also.

My thoughts exactly. He's a junk dealer and probably thinks he can get that price.

I think it's a little high for the shape it's in. If it were cleaned up and had attachments and a good case - different story. Doesn't look like it was taken very good care of.

I've had a similar experience dealing with a guy selling a Singer for $250 here in Australia. I was trying to make him a reasonable offer and he just got all annoyed - it makes sense when you consider they don't care about the machine or the person who wants to use it, they only care about the money. So all they are hearing is "you are not going to get the money you want" and therefore get seriously annoyed.

I just try and tell myself that they might be going through a difficult time at the moment... Or, I suppose if they really do go through life being so rude to people all the time, then they are probably not having an enjoyable life anyway.

Definitely not worth $300 to me. I agree, "rode hard and put away wet"!

I'd avoid that machine at all costs; the specific ways it is missing paint indicate it's been dropped, and several times by the look of it. Poor thing.

OMG, I was born and raised in Kannapolis! Haven't lived there in 40 years, but people there used to be quite nice.
