I will let everyone know when Annie arrives. I have sent an email to the seller....good idea to contact eBay too.

Keeping in mind if it passes 45 days (or maybe 90?) you haven't got a leg to stand on with PayPal for a refund.
Do you have tracking confirmation numbers? If it ever was shipped they will be listed with your purchase information at Ebay. Click those numbers and see if it was ever shipped and where it is currently.

If no shipping confirmation to track with APPLY TO PAYPAL FOR A REFUND
Five weeks is ridiculous ...

Yes, I do have a tracking number. Have verification that it was shipped and that it has been processed through the Chicago Postal Center/International Parcels. Contacted the post office and their reply was that they did not know when package would clear customs...it "usually take several weeks".

From everyone's input, I feel sure that it will arrive in time. I will stay in touch with the seller.

My experience is different. I shipped an expensive ($120) metal candleholder from the U.S. to Canada. It arrived damaged, and because the box was ok, I suspect it was dropped by customs when they examined it. International insurance claims are processed through NYC. It took almost a year to get the insurance claim payment, because the U.S. insurance claims office waits a set period of time for a response from the Canadian post office. They never responded, so the claim was finally paid.

This was an Ebay transaction, and I was the seller. I was glad to have had understanding buyers. I won't ship out of the country unless it is not breakable and of very low value in case I have to eat it.

My first FW came from Canada. I needed to purchase a converter to be able to use it in the USA.

Maybe someone with more knowledge about electricity can explain it better than I can but U.S. electrical current and Canadian electrical current are not the same. I can't remember if I needed a "step up" or a "step down" converter. The one that I purchased (from ebay) was both.

I live in Canada also. I hope that you don't get burned on your purchase. I do think its highly likely it is stuck at the border in customs.

Wow, that's a little scary. How would you even track it, I wonder.

I ship and receive from Canada and it has never gotten 'stuck' in customs!? I would email the seller and ask for tracking information. Also, I bought one machine from England and it got here real fast! Was surprised how fast it came. Sooner than one shipment from California took.
