Default Found another featherweight table.

Found another featherweight table at Goodwill for $4.50. It was missing the insert and the tuop was in rough condition. Gave it to my sister-in-law. She made an insert with a scrap piece of wood cutting it with a jigsaw. She refinished the top and it turned out quite nice. She had found a white feather weight at a junk store in immaculate condition for $10. It did not have a carrying case but I had found one at a flea market for five dollars.

About 15 years ago, I happened to be at a garage sale, and was walking around when my toe bumped something sitting under a table...I looked and knew immediately what it was...as My Mom had a black featherweight and this was the green and cream case....I ask the lady if it was for sale...she said yes, it's $25...didn't take me long to pick that right up and pay her...worked perfectly...now that my mom has passed away...I have both...my two daughters will get them...the oldest daughter still comes and makes baby quilts on the black one...for her grandbabies.. I've never seen another one at a garage sale...and our Goodwill never has machines of any kind...

I saw the table yesterday for sale at $225, so you got a great deal.
