What kind of needles do I need for my Featherweight and where do I purchase them. I only have the one needle that came with the machine.

Standard 15x1 sewing machine needles. They go if with the flat on the left.

I only use Schmetz needles, you can get them at Joann with a coupon. Remember NFL (Needle Flat Left) and thread from right to left.

I use Schmetz also flat to the left like the silver plate on the machine
