Default At the risk of sounding dumb
Can anyone tell me what this is? It appears to have a bobbin in the middle of it, with a pc on one end that has a hook on it.

To me it looks like a tatting shuttle. But I am no expert and the picture is small.

I think it's too small to be a tatting shuttle. I think it's the shuttle and bobbin out of an old treadle sewing machine.

It's a tatting shuttle-I have several like it. Is the bobbin removable?
