Featherweight Sewing Machine

I have a featherweight sewing machine and I love it. Lately I have noticed that it is sewing slower than it used to. The machine was serviced (cleaned and a new belt) about a year ago. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

maybe the belt needs to be loosened??

That's what I had to do with mine.... Also, did you lube the 2 ports on the motor----Use SINGER LUBRICANT not oil....
