The photos in the PDF I downloaded from some site are identical in style.

Rather than go searching for it again, I attached the PDF I had on my computer.
Thanks for this info - I just found it as it was recommended on Facebook

I'd be concerned if mine sounded like that. All FWs I've had have all made the click noise, which I like. A thunk sounds like the feed dog might be set a bit high and hitting the needle plate. Only a guess, but one of my 15 clones made that noise and that's what was making it.
If you want to localise the sound, get a foot-ish length of clean rubber tubing, put one end in your ear and move the other end until the noise is loudest. Once you find the source I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to fix it.

AA, Thank you for that little hint. I am sending one of my Feather Weight to a friend of mine who sews like a fiend. I wanted someone to use the little beauty more than I am.

My Singer 221 Handcrank machine makes the sound: stitch-stitch-stitch-stitch....
Oops, wait a minute, that’s me making the sound....

LOL! My cat does that. He purrs while he eats, so he ends up making nom nom nom sounds, which makes me laugh so hard every time. It's adorable.
