Default Featherweights, yes Plural

I can't believe I did this, but I just purchased a lot of 5, yes 5, Featherweights from a lady in California. The manufacture dates are from 1938 to 1964. And one of them is a white 221K. I have spent all morning being a Featherweight travel agent as she did not want to to go through the hassle of shipping them and wa not going to sell them individually. Praise the Lord, that I have a son who lives in San Jose, CA and a sister who lives two hours south who will pick them up and bring them to me in April. I have to tell the vintage sewing machine gods that I am out of room and please "NO MORE, I AM DONE".

What a thrill! For some reason I now have an image of a sewing machine aficionado herding a whole bunch of FWs around, kind of like that old Superbowl commercial with the cats.
