Default Finishing Those Wooden Cases...What is Your Method and Materials?

What is your method for cleaning and restoring the bentwoods, coffins and all of those other lovely wooden sewing machine cases that need some TLC? What are some of your favorite products to use to restore their finishes and keep them looking nice?

J Miller has lots of info for the more modern covered cases.
