The button for my quilting machine is on the track that the machine is attached to, not the machine. I looked under the machine, and I see where the wires are going to the button. Can I cut the wires and put a food pedal on it so I can use it on a table?

I wouldn't. If you decide to sell the frame and machine you will have decreased the value considerably. Give it careful thought. Why do you want to put it on a table?

It is basically an industrial machine on a frame. It's difficult to maneuver and I don't like it! The cats have claimed it as theirs, so I can't keep a quilt on it! I want to keep the machine, sell the frame.

The frame is 12 ft, all one piece. The machine is a Kenquilt 622

Hmmm. That is an industrial machine. It looks like a Brother or a Consew. How is the motor hooked to the machine? Does it have a motor boss or is it bolted to the machine itself? How do you control the speed on the machine now?

I have just joined the quilting board group.
My husband built me a quilting frame, but so far I have not had any luck getting the frame that holds my sewing machine to work smooth enough for it to sew right. Any suggestions on how to do this?

I emailed you some pictures, because I don't know what a motor boss is. It's pretty much just bolted to the machine. The speed is controlled by a knob that looks like (and might very well be) a light switch dimmer.
