That is not an 1800s machine. More like 1911 or there abouts. I have one. It was sold by Sears and made by Domestic. It uses the same bobbins the Singer 27s do and the shuttle is similar, but I don't know if it's interchangeable.
It also uses standard 15x1 needles.
