my message to them...

Ok, so here is the TRUTH about this machine.....

The serial number you show is G7459167 (i.e. G - 7,459,167)

if you look HERE (or contact Singer directly)
http://www.ismacs.net/singer_sewing_...l-numbers.html

G-7,453,126 through G-7,473,125 Were Model 128's ordered produced as a batch of 20,000 with the order to build placed on October 14 , 1919

PLEASE correct your listing so that is not FRAUDULENT

I wish there was a better way to report fraudulent listings on CL. That ijit selling the repro as an antique just keeps on relisting it every time we flag it.

It's easy to misread a serial#. I do it all the time. The fact that they changed the listing tells me they're at least trying to be honest.

O-o-o isn't this nice? No room nor money. Bet it will go cheap though.

And six wooden ironing boards, and a toy sewing machine! No, I am not going as I have blown through my budget with the Row by Row Experience quilt shops.

Not too bad. That's a Martha Washington cabinet, they also made a matching one just for sewing supplies.
