Default My New Home & Morse Sewing MAchines

Well, I am starting to collect Japanese made Machines now, lol....here is two I have gotten in the last week. Their cases were in bad shape so I had My DH to build me two bases for them. The case on the New Home He made out of Cedar the one on the Morse is made of plain old pine. I have to stain it yet. The New Home looks like new and the Morse is not in as good of shape but sews good. I still need to learn how to put the tension assembly back on right. The Morse had some rust on it. I named the New Home "Connie' and the Morse is "Snooks" I just love these colors. Joy

I just sold a New Home that looked similar to yours. I have a pink Morse and they're great machines.

Oh no !!! You have now contracted the "Japanese Clone Flu" . Sad to say that there is no cure for it since the clones come in all kinds of awesome colors and retro looks...lol!

You have found two beautiful machines and your husband did a wonderful job with the cases.

Very nice job on the bases. I have a different Morse, and it is one powerful machine that purrs like a kitten.

I am in love with Snooks. What is his model number? I have a 4100 and two 4400s though one of the 4400s is a parts machine.

If only these machines weren't so danged heavy, I'd bid on the ones featured on Ebay. The shipping would be too much to bear I fear.
The bases your hubby made are beautiful.

Snooks is a Model 4300. It sews good. Just not as clean as I would like. It hasn't been treated good in its day. But She has a home now, lol
