Default Goodwill AZ Score

I really scored today. I almost didn't open the case because I thought is was a typewriter. But when I opened the case and saw the machine I quick turned the wheel and it moved freely so I slammed the cover shut and ran to the register before someone yelled "Thief". I got a Singer 301A for 19.99. When I got her home she is pristine and purrs when she's running. She's so light I think I'll be taking her to classes. Her name will be Hattie after my Grandma Michol. She didn't sew but I loved her so. I have many of her handkerchiefs with crochet edging.

Wow! I thought I was getting a great deal when I bought my 301 for $85! In the valley, we don't get good deals like that at Goodwill. Ours is VERY over priced, I think. Hattie is gorgeous! She is a cousin to my Harriette (my maternal grandmother's name!)

Our goodwill in Apache Junction is very reasonable and sometimes cheap. It's our St. Vincent de Paul that I find expensive.
