I got a treadle cabinet a few weeks ago and I've been looking for a machine for it and found one on eBAY for $36! Plus shipping, of course.

She looks pretty good!

Thats a beautiful old "Redeye" No. 66 just like mine. It is considered the best Singer ever made with the first drop in bobbin. Mine was my grandmas and bought in 1918 as a wedding gift from my grandpa to my grandma. The stories these machines could tell if they talked.

Beautiful!! Are you going to use it?
We got one 30 years ago, with the nice Egyptian design in gold, DH used it so much he not only wore off the gold leaf in spots but wore off the black paint!!

Yep, I'm going to use it. At least enough to get used to it and know how it feels to work it. I might really need it sometime if there's no power. :D

That is a real nice machine!!! You will love it once you start to use it and get used to operating a treadle. Then you may never go back to using an electric machine ever again.

She sure is a beauty.

Billy is right.
Using a treadle is so natural.
You will not want to go back to electrics again.

Blessings,
Sandi
