Default great find, but...........

Hi all,

I just picked up my 401a!!!!! Very excited to try it out, but it didn't come with power cord/foot pedal or any cams or extra feet. I think I have a set of cams and maybe a zipper foot from a touch n sew, if I can find them (long story). It looks to be in great shape overall. So now, I'm on the hunt for foot pedal and cams, and feet! Sometimes the searching process is just as much fun as playing with them!!!

Congratulations!! You will love your 401a! I have one in the original cabinet and to tell you the truth, I just love it, it sews a beautiful seam and will power through just about anything. Since I have had this machine my expensive Viking is sitting on the back of my desk. Have fun with her!

This one has a darker brown foot pedal and cord with the newer 3 prong plug style. The amount of built in stitches the 401 can do are fun to play with and the cams are black in colour. All slant feet for this gal and you'll have a lot of fun with this machine.

The cord sets and foot controller can be had from Sew-Classic. Our 401A came the same way. No cords, no cams, no case, just the machine. Kind of a do-it-yourself project. The cord set and controller came from S-C and the case came from a QB member. The cams came from various places.
