Haid & Neu treadle at a thrift store
Now I wish I had my camera along, because I didn't see anything like it on my Google/Needlebar search. :/
I saw the coffin top, and the price tag said Singer (aren't they all?), $129.00. When I lifted the lid, I thought it looked like the W9 body, it had that kind of squared off look, and the u shaped spool holder in the middle of the arm. It wasn't a Wheeler and Wilson, nor Singer, but it had the silver Haid & Neu badge on the pillar. It had minimal decals in decent shape, in a simple treadle cabinet. The coffin top had the key taped onto it, but the latch from the table had stripped screws and the whole latch was on the lid. I was surprised that it was a horizontal round bobbin machine.
Anyway, not ready to pay that, and no room right now, but it was unique!
