Type 'vintage sewing machine shop' in the search box and start reading. The thread is pushing 500 pages! Machines were made by one company and badged for several companies. Billy (lostn51) is a storehouse of information. Very interesting reading.

Old Service Treadle MachineAt some point antigue finish was put on.

Drawers are cut because her sons used them for cage for pet fling squirls

I have never seen a Machine with the plunger coming in and out on top.
