I was thinking the same thing. You just can't possibly fail. Either you get the machine restored or you have a wealth of parts. No fail.

Very cool looking machine! I haven't seen a brown crinkle before.... And it's amusing that you can actually see the spray pattern. It even looks like there was overflow onto the bobbin winder, lol. And very cool that it even says it's a repaint. Never seen that before!
Will be posting my pics soon of the 301 in a new thread soon so keep posted.

A friend of mine has a green Singer with the crinkle paint. Its a 127 from the early 1900s.

Interesting, I learned something new today. Now I just saw one advertised on CL and I suspect it is a repainted one.
