Having pfun with the Pfaff - researching 'her' family history
#11
That is so wonderful, Sabine! Isn't she simply lovely?
How did you get just the one photo to copy? I tried and tried and all I could do was to save the page with all eight photos.
When I've finished the research about Amy, I'm putting it all in a binder to be kept with the machine. I also want a small frameable print of her, and later on, me, to keep with the 130. It's pedigree has been easier to trace than mine!
My next task is to find Amy's home here in Larimore!

How cool!!
I like finding the name of original owners for my machines when I can, but I've never gone beyond just leafing through the paperwork to try to find such data. You really went the whole mile! That's pretty cool.

I know that somewhere in the sewing room I have one more document that was included with the Pfaff. It's the original sales receipt that needs to be found and make its way into the "Vintage Pfaff" binder. I remember it as being made out to Amy Carol Winslow.
However, this week I did find one Internet reference to the Crookston, MN marriage of James Walter Love and Amy Claire Winslow, July 15, 1970. This year and place jives with her obituary. Every other document has just "Amy C."
I having a hard time finding anything on James Love, her second husband.
