A 66 rebuild with a crinkle finish. Those are an interesting machine. I always wonder what is under that crinkle paint.
I've got one now and had another. Both sew very well.

I can't believe that I turned down my Grandmother's machine just like this 38 years ago. I should be kicking myself...I only wanted a new machine at that time....Dumb, dumb dumb.
As far as what is under the crinkle finish....has anyone tried to remove it on a donor machine (beyond repair)?

Must be pretty old as it does not have the stitch length lever. Looks very handsome!
