Default started Cleaning the Garage

As some of you know, I spent several months caring for a terminal family member and when she died she left everything to me.
Well, I've always known there's a treadle in the garage, but it had so much stuff piled on and around it I couldn't get close enough to see just what it exactly is. I just now moved enough boxes to see that the irons say New Home. Give me a couple hours and I might even have pics.

Aw, it sounds wonderful.(Your treadle "find".) I'm so sorry for your loss.

So now you can give your "New Home" a new home.

Also my condolences.

Thanks for the condolences. She passed in April so I'm over the boohoo phase and now am smack in the middle of the "what am I gonna do with all this cr-p, er, stuff" phase.
Here's two quick pics. It's very, very dirty but decals seem to be mostly there and there's two sets of fiddly bits in the drawer.

Looks to be in great shape under all the dust Cari.
I like the twig style cabinet.

Rodney did you notice the veneer on the floor next to the machine in the first pic? The veneer on the top of the machine is completely loose and that half fell off when I opened up the machine. There's a belt on it, the machine is very stiff but it turns. Sadly it gets to wait just like the Jones is until I have the time and a place to work on it.

I see it now. The cabinet needs a little work then.

Gosh I'm not sure if I should cheer or what! Sorry for your loss, and all the work ahead of you in going through their things! I hope you find more treasures!

"Fiddly bits" cracked me up this morning, for some reason. An apt description, I think!

It looks as though you could make a good cabinet and machine out of it all. We'll try and see it as a nice thank you gift for the care you gave. Bless you.
