Here she is !!

My new "old" portable singer sewing machine. Her birth date is Oct 13, 1937. I have named her woody--

--because I grew up during the "woody" car era .
She is clean and beautiful and only missing the one brown screw on top of her case.

That is a real nice 128. I picked up a beat up 99 in a case like that, and I'm going to put my godzilla 128 in it. I've got a little table the case sits in (along with the older cabinet). I really love the smaller machines in the bentwood cases.

some of the cases have such a shallow box... check the depth before you get too excited about doing a changing places deal. I forget which way it goes though.

I also now have a featherweight !! Her name is Suzy Vee after a very good friend who paid for half of it as a retirement gift to me. She is a keeper!! .......the friend !! And the machine!!!
