Definitely the vintage Singer--skip the Stylist. I have a 27, a 66, a 15-91, a Spartan and a Featherweight, ranging from 1907 to 1951. I would take a vintage machine any day!

I have a 1936 201-4K hand crank that is now treadle powered, fabulous machine; so smooth and quiet. You can't go wrong with the 201!

I have 2 nice cabinets that came minus the machines and cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach any of my machines in them!
