Default If I Just Had A Bigger House!

This should bring up a beautiful parlor cabinet treadle at auction this Saturday night. They also have a nice Featherweight with a lot of attachments and bobbins. At the end of the list they have what appears to be a very nice 201 Singer but I'm not positive on that model.

Nice cabinet, though it is strange they didn't open the other door.

The other one is a 201-2. I have one in the same cabinet.

Good thing it's in Texas! I like the storage built into the to0p of the door. It is strange they didn't open the other door.

EDIT: Are you bidding on it? For that I would make room.

It is so frustrating to me that they always market these as furniture.. no decent pics of the machine itself....

That's a beautiful cabinet.

I agree. So many ads for sewing tables.

they probably didn't take the time to figure out that there is a little latch at the bottom of the inner door - you can't open it unless you reach down and release it first.

The second to last picture is the left side door opened showing the hidden compartment. A friend of mine has this same cab/machine. Whenever I'm at her house I try to talk her into selling it to me. She has never used it.But I have and it sews so nice.

I am up here in Ontario, Canada drooling over that auction . Naturally, the machines but I like the look of some other things too. And you guys all talk about the distance. Out of the question for me.

That is just a closer shot of the picture before it, with the right door open.
