Default Hubby's adventure turned into my treasure

Hubby who doesn't drive much asked me to drive him around this a.m. for some errands he's had on his mind...wanted to see if some jewelry that hasn't seen daylight for 30 years was worth anything....long story short, he called me out of the car to view this...and of course it came home with us...his jewelry.. my joy. It's a century model and in absolutely great shape. I think I'll call her shiny Shelia

And to think I was dragging my feet when we started...gotta love the guy!!!

That's my kind of "jewelry" Oh Shiny! . . . Yea, I've been known to lose my train of thought when seeing a vintage machine on a shelf.

Better than diamonds, IMHO. She appears to be very clean.

Yep! You gotta love'em. I'd much rather have a piece of jewelry like that. Not as easy to lose down a drain and usually costs more.

Now, that's a beautiful machine and carrier. Looks like it has never been used!

What luck! (Though not entirely luck -- you were kind to drive him around, and he was astute enough to know what you like.) Was it in trade for the jewelry? It looks new! I love the name. Is it pronounced Sheel-ya? If not, (I do know of a Shelia who pronounces it that way), would you consider spelling it my way? I would be flattered, but I won't be offended if you don't...
