Default A Human Sewing Machine?

The description says, "This is what I call production quality, people! Here is an awesome old show where Tim Hunkin explains the history and mechanics of the sewing machine. At one point, Tim demonstrates the main princples of the machine by making a huge human sewing machine. I highly recommend this for beginners" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_qLCdrbU78

I haven't watched it. Probably two people demonstrating how a lock stitch is made.

I just watched the opening few seconds. I know I've seen it before. I think I found the link here somewhere.
It's worth watching if you haven't seen it yet.

Thank you for posting about this. I hadn't seen it before, but I loved it.....some of those older machines were out of this world! How could anybody sew a straight line and use a "pump-type" sewing machine at the same time?
