Default Hybrid bernina 542-2

I have a bernina 542-2 that has been turned into a hybrid industrial machine. It is built into a table with an industrial motor and has a leather belt. I have heard that this is a rare machine and have conflicting info on its value. I am considering selling it but do not want to if it is special or to sell it for less then its value. Does anyone have any ideas on what this machine would be worth. It is in excellent condition

Really, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. This isn't a site for appraisals. You'd do better by researching prices in your area and sold auctions on ebay. Good luck.

Welcome to the QB!

I don't like "rare" usable items, because it usually means that finding parts, if necessary, is difficult.

Plus, I wouldn't think that just adding an industrial motor to a domestic machine makes it in any way industrial.

Anyways, post pictures of the machine when you get a chance.
