I picked this up on CL for $25.00 I know nothing about these machines. Where can I find info? Are they good machines, can you find the age of the machine like you can a singer? TIA

Absolutely AWESOME machine. I had her big sister and did not know what I had at the time and let her go. Never found anything so smooth, quiet, ahhhhhhh. I somehow had tracked down a service manual and if have is easy to fix yourself even; would not think so but it really is as the manual was very good with directions and pics. Mine did not need fixing as was pristine except one of my little munchkins played sewing machine repair man! The decorative stitches perfect! Have fun.

Love the color of that Necchi. What model # is it. I have a lavender Lelia 515. I have searching for a manual and the cams that go with the machine. I really like this machine. It sews so quiet and since I only do quilting not general sewing I don't really need the cams but they would be nice to have. I don't really need the manual as I have figured out how to thread it and wind a bobbin, etc but again it would be nice to have a manual.

I have the same machine! They have a reputation as a wonderful machine-both strong and quiet. You got a great deal for 25.00 with the cams in original box (mine also has a chipped corner), manual and other goodies!

In the early 50"s, in our Home Ec Dept at school, we had a NECCHI. It was the pride of the department. The other 10 machines were all Singer ..Good, sturdy and Quiet.you have a jewel

You got a bargain there my friend with attachments manual AND intact toggle switches. It may need a bit of fiddling with to unstick the zig zag. I possibly overpaid for the one I bought (Dead Mum tax) but it sews beautifully and I would definitely be on the look out for another!

You need to join the main group first and post an introduction before you can join the sewing circle. I think it's called the necchisewingmachineclub. Very knowledgeable group of people.
