Default I found a great thrift shop today!

We drove up to Prescott today where the weather is a little cooler and stopped in at a thrift shop that we noticed in passing. My cousin immediately spotted the shelves of sewing machines, and a nice young man told us they were all 60% off today. Be still my heart! I helped my aunt choose a Kenmore 158 which will work perfectly for her. I only picked one but it was real hard to leave the others behind when they were only $20 each. I picked out a Morse 200 Deluxe which is a cute little machine. This store has an osmg who cleans all the machines and makes sure they are in good working order. They gave me his name and number in case I have any problems with it. I couldn't believe it! The top of the case is original, but the bottom is a nice handmade wooden replacement. I'm a happy camper!

What a lucky day for you and your cousin. That's a great looking little Morse.

That's a sweet little shop to have them repaired and ready to go and still at such a nice price!

Yes, I'll bet your heart did "be still" for a minute or two. What a great setup! For a minute there I thought the photo was taken at Cathy's (Macybaby) place. Wish we had a well run shop like that in our area.
