It was a housewarming present for my grandson and his wife. She is from China and remembers family members sewing on a treadle. She's very excited to use it, so it has a better home than it had here. She wanted a Redeye, but one isn't pretty enough to gift and one was a gift from my son so it's not going anywhere. She jumped right in cleaning and waxing the cabinet while my grandson cleaned the machine, which it really didn't need.

Then it's staying in the family and you can visit her. Such a good feeling to know her new owners are very happy. Your granson's wife will have many good times with it.
