I was gifted a Singer 301

I was given this singer 301 yesterday. Today I dropped it off at my sewing machine man. 4 hours later it was up and running. It had a bent shaft he straightened, he cleaned and oiled it, rebuilt the tension and she runs like a dream♥ There is just something about the old Singers.....can't beat them! I named her Cat. The friend that gave her to me is called Cat[ATTACH=CONFIG]401792[/ATTACH].

Wow what a great gift! She is a beauty! I have one and I use her all the time. They are dandy machines, enjoy!

Oh boy! You hit the jackpot! I would love a long-bed black 301. These are amazing! My new 301 is quickly becoming one of my favorite machines. Your friend Cat is a sweetie!
