I Got A Featherweight!

I got it today from a lady thru Freecycle. Yes! It was FREE!!!!!!
She posted a 1940's sewing machine in a case. I told her I would pick it up today. She left it on her porch and when I saw the case, I knew. I did open it to make sure after I got it in the car. Decals are almost perfect, very little crud on the machine, foot pedal fine, attachments, bobbins and bobbin case included. No musty smell in almost perfect case. And 2 keys for the case. And it works!!!!!!!

221-1 model. Allotted 11-18-1949

I will be shaking for a while so I can't take pics yet.

Have you stopped shaking yet? Glad you made it home in one piece. Be sure to sit down before opening the case so you don't drop it or faint.

Happy for you. I love my Featherweights - 1 222 black in220 V ( I live in Paris),one black 221 in 110 V (needs a transformer), and a white darling little 221.
