Default I got it! My Green 15-125

I've been looking at my Goodwill since September of last year. I haven't seen one sewing machine there yet. Today I walked right in and found the 15-125 I've been wanting. She needs some work, she's a dirty dirty girl. Didn't turn at all an hour ago, I found that problem and now she turns. Needs a couple of spool pins, a tension spring (don't they all?)... and who knows what else. Hopefully tomorrow when I don't have any distractions I'll be able to get the handwheel off and discover what's looming ahead in the wiring department. The cord set is solid, so I'm hopeful!

I love the green machines--that's a beauty. I have one and I love how it runs!

Sweet! Isn't it nice to find what you want close to home?
I think it'll clean up nice. If the cord set is good chances are the rest of the wires are too. The cord sets tend to get most of the abuse. It's good you have the original. I don't think it would be easy to match that color new.

I'm super thrilled about finding one without shipping costs, that is for certain. I didn't even look at it when I was at Goodwill. The store was really busy and didn't want to risk losing it. I grabbed the ticket and hustled to the register.

- 2 spool pins
- tension spring
- bobbin case

I have a feeling the table is going back to goodwill. It's the plainest table I have seen to date, no drawers or anything. The table was clean, the machine was not. Must have been a hall table for a while.

Stitch regulator screw.... It's almost like it was a parts machine for somebody.

Oh goodie for you! I love that machine. I am working on my new green machine too! So far it sounds like nothing too hard to replace! Hopefully the wires all look good.

Question: I am just learning about wiring. Do you always check the wires right away? What are you looking for and where do you look?
