I got a treadle
I discovered an ad on too good to toss...they had treadle converted to electric---cabinet was painted blue UGH...but I could fix that----then I saw something next to it....and asked whats that---it was a treadle with the long bobbins and shuttles....I almost drooled---cabinet needs some cleaning---but it works....had drawers full of goodies---lots of attachments....3 or 4 shuttles---lots of bobbins in the little swing out section in front center----even has thread on them...the model number is 9161238.....so I tracked it down ----made in 1889....did I score??
No manual in it---but some odd braided metal things that I am sure are *stays* that were used in corsets or clothing?
How do I find any more info on this machine?
I am trying to upload pictures but having issues..
The wooden cover on the top of the machine says domestic---not sure if that is the right top for this machine
