Below is a picture from the auction. She's a 1953 and I'm gonna call her Verna, after my great-aunt Verna who taught me how to sew when I was 8. She had one like this that she sewed on all the time. I can't wait for it to get here! I can't decide if I will use this for piecing or what. I guess I'll know more when it gets here and (if) I need to get it serviced.
I've been watching Featherweight auctions on eBay like a hawk and I think this is a pretty average price for one of these. I hope my experience is not like that of Nantie who posted in another thread here today (featherweight from ebay) that what she got from eBay was unusable and she was going to launch a complaint wtih eBay. I always make sure that I ask a ton of questions first.
