I Love My 99
#12
I really should get my 99 up and running, but with 4 128's it has never been a priority, the 99 and 128 may be "3/4" machines but they perform FULL SIZE.

Somebody asked about the noise? It's not really noisy anymore since I put an old mouse pad under it. Also the added benefit that it doesn't slide across my table when I'm using it.
I've also used it for making my first PP baby quilt.
Greywuuf, I love the princess dress you are making. I'm not in "the middle of nowhere Alaska", but I am at "the end of the road".

Quilter 53 ....I should have figured from the carhart useage that you were a fellow '49er. I am not in the middle of no where...I am a Fairbanksan. (northpole) yes the dress is quite a project but is progressing... Keep an eye on the mountain for us !

Also those of you looking to do the occasional canvas project do not overlook the shuttle machines (27,28,127,128) they are not fussy about heavy thread....I have a one pound spool of #92 weight nylon (industrial upholstery type) that I run in my 128's and in my treadle 27. My 306 won't even consider it...not enough clearance in the rotating hook for it.
