Default I need your pattern suggestions for a Featherweight worshop.

I am organizing a Featherweight sewing day in May for quilters in our area that own Featherweights. Last May, I organized a clean and maintain your Featherweight Day and it was a huge success.... We were 25 participants. But many have not used their featherweights since (including me). So I thought I'd organize a "Sew with your Featherweight" day. Most of these quilters are experienced and have made many of the standard type of projects (ie Trip around the world etc).

Can you help me by suggesting some small "Featherweight Friendly" workshop ideas with links etc. Or if you are on Pinterest and see a great Featherweight class idea, will you pin it and label it Featherweight idea. I'll be searching Pinterest over the next few weeks for fun, unique and irresistable options.

Thanks everyone.

How about a true miniature workshop. Nothing sews a more accurate 1/8 inch seam like a Featherweight. You could show an example for using them in the "Bears in Bed" that someone posted on QB?

A small twister quilt top can easily be made in a day. I always use my Featherweight when teaching this class.

When I was going to the Featherweight Club Dave and Sharon McCullum started here in WA state, we did those pillow cases for a children's hospital and then a "touchy-feelly" mat for the laps of Alzheimer's patients in a home here. That's 2 ideas if they want to do something that they can donate. We also had free sew times where you brought a project to work on that you were doing at home. One meeting was also for people who had accessories for their machines that could be demonstrated--Dave had the faggoter to show and others did the pleater, tucker, etc. The accessories some of us have that don't know how to operate!

You could do something with this technique and end up with 3 different size and pattern wallhangings from one cutting session.
