Default I redid a sorrowful little featherweight-----

I bought a sorrowful little machine from a friend of my DS and DDIL. It was so worn and sad looking....but still plugged along doing her job of sewing a nice straight seam... I have always wanted to redo and fancy up a machine, so I decided I wouldn't be taking anything away from this sweet machine by doing so.....

It is just a little paint and some decals, so someday, if I have the money, I would love to have her painted professionally but until then, we will giggle and sew.....

Am sending the before and after.

Don't think I have ever seen one so worn looking. But your flutterbys and flowers make it so cute and fun. Great job. Enjoy sewing on her.

You dressed her up.. I'm not sure I would worry about what she's wearing, more of what she has to give to you.. Since her stitches are nice, and straight, enjoy her for what she is.. I'm still looking for a FW

She feels like a royal queen now that you've prettied her up!

You sure did pretty her up! Love the butterflies and paint job. Looks like she had a hard life before she made her way into your world.

What kind of stickons did you use? I have a machine that could use a bit of joy but only find the scrapbook stickons and didn't think they would wear well.

Great job!!!

I'm sure the poor little thing is so happy to have found a new, loving home. I think a little girl would just love to learn to sew on her..... and quite a few big girls as well.
