Oh she did rest her head on it, too.

Your GKs are adorable!! They are very fortunate to have your patient guidance and will remember their experiences forever. Sadly mine live very far away - would love to do this with them.

Great -- and beautiful -- kids who are learning good things at your knee. I miss my GKs being that age. Now all they want to do is sit inside and play video games!

What great pics! And oh the memories you all are making... My only grandchild just turned 4, she loves to sit on my lap and help Grammy sew by pushing the button..she also loves lace up cards. Hope she continues to want to learn and enjoy sewing as much as your gks seem to.

Lovie discovered serial numbers and wanted to know what they are. I told her they were the sewing machine's birthday. She giggled and Wilbur looked on the Singer 15 and said, "My sewing machine has a birthday, too!!!" then he read off the letters "S*I*N*G*E*R!"

What precious grandchildren and most of all the special memories you are building for all. Mine love the hand cranks but the older granddaughter has discovered computerized machines ahhh youth and technology.

They are so precious and sweet and lucky you. Saw my granddaughter (13) for the time in 10 years last week. She old me she couldn't sew and as she was only here 2 days we didn't have time to try the idea out.
