Default Kenmore 117.741 Manual?

I have a White model 651 which seems to be the same as the Kenmore 117.741. Did anyone ever find a manual? Free? I'm trying to find a .pdf free one but having no luck. I only paid $20 for the machine. I'm really don't see shelling out as much for a manual...

My mistake. That should read "117.740".

I just found this post via Google and I'm sure I'm way behind but if you're still looking for the threading guide to the ZigZag I have one. I just bought it from a thrift for $10 bucks and it had the original manual. I also have a tip for getting it unstuck. I used a CFC No Flash electro static cleaner to remove old oil build up.

Thanks so much!

It takes regular needles and that's about all I know. It was made by Gritzner, a German company. Generally speaking, there will be a White (brand name) machine that is like it. You may be able to find a manual if you look for it as a white machine. It's a wonderful machine, I understand.

Here's the address for the Kenmore Vintage Sewing Group. You have to join, but it's free. I'm sure they will be able to answer your questions and may even have a copy of the manual in their files.
