Look at my new little cutie (Singer 99)!
Isn't she just adorable? I bought her from somebody here on the Quilting Board, a lovely lady who was nice enough to drive many miles to meet with me and bring the machine. This 99 looks absolutely perfect and sews like a dream. Gave her a bit of oil, used Goo-Gone on a piece of tape somebody stuck on the front, I assume as a seam-measurement marker (which came right off... first time I've used that stuff and it really worked amazingly well), and she even has the case which is in pretty good condition (no odor at all). She was born in 1955 which makes her a little older than I am (LOL). I've wanted a 99 for a long time and I'm so happy!
I named her Judy, which just happens to be the name of my favorite aunt AND the name of the wonderful lady who sold her to me.... serendipity!

She IS adorable! The 99/99k is one of my favorite sewing machine models made by Singer. I have one and just bought another. They sew like a dream. You're gonna love her. Your case is in excellent condition too. Nice!
